Nigerian stock market closed on a positive note yesterday, as NSE ASI appreciated by 0.44% to close at 24,746.16basis points, compared with the 0.01% depreciation recorded previously. Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at -13.60%.
Market breadth closed positive as Okonu Oil led 22gainers against 20losers topped by Law Union at the end of yesterday’s session- an improved performance when compared with previous outlook.
Market turnover closes positive as volume moved up by 67.20% against 97.66% decline recorded in the previous session. Law Union, UBA and GTB were the most active to boost market turnover. GTB and Dangote Cement top market value list.
Mobil Oil leads the list of active stocks that recorded impressive volume spike at the end of yesterday’s session.
