Nigerian equities market closed on a negative note yesterday, as NSE ASI depreciated by 1.19% to close at 33,476.77 basis points, compared with the 0.54% depreciation recorded previously.
Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at -3.41%
Market breadth closed negative as Berger led 19gainers against 37losers topped by Jos Breweries at the end of yesterday’s session- an unimproved performance when compared with previous outlook.
Market turnover closes positive as volume moved up by 18.46% against 12.61% uptick recorded in the previous session. Zenith bank, FBNH and UBA were the most active to boost market turnover. Zenith bank and GTB top market value list.
