Nigerian stock market closed on a positive note yesterday, as NSE ASI appreciated by 0.16 percent to close at 30,359.47basis points, compared with the 0.19 percent depreciation recorded previously.
Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at -12.40 percent.
Market breadth closed positive as Eterna Oil led 26gainers against 21losers topped by Unity bank at the end of yesterday’s session- an improved performance when compared with previous outlook.
Market turnover closes negative as volume declined by 58.96 percent against 62.50 percent uptick recorded in the previous session. FBNH, UBCAP and Unity bank were the most active to boost market turnover. GTB and FBNH top market value list.
