MARKET capitalisation of the Nigerian Stock Exchange closed on a negative note yesterday, as NSE ASI depreciated by 1.17% to close at 29,870.86basis points, compared with the 1.82% appreciation recorded previously.
Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at -13.81%
Market breadth closed negative as Cutxi led 12gainers against 37losers topped by Dangote Sugar at the end of yesterday’s session- an unimproved performance when compared with previous outlook.
Market turnover closes negative as volume declined by 53.14% against 97.10% uptick recorded in the previous session. UBA, Zenith bank and Skye bank were the most active to boost market turnover. GTB and Zenith bank top market value list.
