Christian Obiozor’s dream of playing for Enyimba this season may have hit the rocks after the Nigeria league placed a transfer embargo on him.
Obiozor has claimed he has quit Kano Pillars, but the League Management Company, LMC, has been quick to announce the striker has a three-year contract with the Nigeria champions and he can only move if they sanctioned such a transfer.
AfricanFootball.com gathered reliably from the Enyimba camp that the lanky forward breezed into the camp of ‘The People’s Elephant’ on Tuesday and has put pen on paper for the Federation Cup holders.
“Obiozor is here with us in Enyimba, he has signed a deal. He came in on Tuesday and the deal is done,” the source told AfricanFootball.com
Obiozor scored four goals for Kano Pillars in the expanded Super 4 before the league kicked off.
