Special adviser to the Delta State governor on Niger Delta Affairs and BRACED commission, Prince Kelly Penawou has enjoined people of the state to continue to maintain harmony and work together for the common good of the state.
Speaking to newsmen in Asaba yesterday, Prince Penawou stated that plans which the government had already set in motion for the progress and development of the state would bear rich fruit for the benefit of all.
The former Bomadi Local Government Council chairman noted that the present administration was developing a society free from discrimination, in which good relationship among the different ethnic groups in the state is fundamentally based on the social process of production.
According to him, every Deltan must regard himself as a managing director and get his own job done at the allotted time, saying that the success of any administration largely depended on the citizens.
He noted that the driving urge to succeed must permeate every citizen of the state, adding that “everyone must combine a high sense of responsibility with a high level of urgency.”
Penawou pointed out that the SMART and Prosperity for All Deltans agenda could only come to fruition when all devote his or her time, intellect and ideas, adding that for Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to steadily and consistently build up a better and richer life for the people and state, all hands must be on deck.
