Chairwoman of the
Women Committee of the
Nigeria Football Federation,
Ayo Omidiran, has said the
partnerships the federation
was entering into would
benefit women football more.
Speaking in an interview with
the News Agency of Nigeria in
Abuja on Tuesday, Omidiran
lauded the NFF for securing
contracts and sponsorships
with corporate bodies.
The NFF recently signed
deals with Coca Cola Bottling
Company, Nigeria Breweries,
Wapic Insurance Plc., among
others.
She said: “It is a wonderful
thing to have these sponsors
partnering with us it shows
that the NFF is doing very well.
“The deals are not for the
male folk only but more
beneficial to the women side.
The Women team is being
carried along and we are
happy about it.
“The Super Falcons were
promised a very good coach
and we have that now, so it is
all in the interest of the game.”
