PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari
who was bid to undertake a two-day

Nigerian Pilot gathered that Buhari
could not make the trip due to ill

commissioned Vice President Yemi
Osinbajo to represent him.
President Buhari’s media aide, Femi
Adesina confirmed to Nigeria Pilot
that his principal could not make the
trip but did not give details of why the
trip was cancelled.
But another presidential spokesman,
Garba Shehu stated that, “The
president will not be able to make
it to Lagos for a two-day working
visit due to other busy schedule. He
will however be represented by Vice
president Yemi Osinbajo,” declining to
speak further on what prompted the
late change

to the landmark achievements of
Governor Akinwunmi Ambode in
the last one year, as well as the good
working relationship between Lagos
State and the federal government.”
Ayorinde added that the president

constructed Ago Palace Way at Okota,
Isolo, after which he would pay
homage to the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan
Akiolu, at the Iga Idunganran, Lagos

day be hosted to a reception rally by
the state government at the Tafawa
Balewa Square, where he will also
commission and hand over security
equipment and vehicles contributed
by the Ambode-led administration to
security agencies to beef up security
in the state.
“Activities for the first day of the
President’s visit would be rounded
off with a state banquet in his honour
at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria
