Senator representing Plateau Southern Senatorial District, Jeremiah Useni has called on people of the state to continue to pray and to also tolerate one another and ensure that lasting peace is restored in the state.
Useni stated this on Sunday in his speech during a thanksgiving service and dedication of the newly renovated COCIN church in Langtang North local government area of the state.
He also condemned the recent killings in the state and called on the entire citizens of the state “to remain calm and stand in solidarity with one another as the collective resolve of citizens of the state is to remain as one united people in spite of ethnic and religious differences”.
Useni also called on citizens of the state to support President Muhammadu Buhari and the Plateau State governor, Simon Bako Lalong in order for them to provide quality representation to the people of the state and country at large.
He assured the members of his constituency that he would not fail them, but to attract projects that would better their living conditions,
Also speaking at the occasion, the Senator representing Plateau Central, Joshua Dariye described Useni as a man who has impacted positively to the people of the state. ,
He said the three senators from the state are working hard to ensure that lasting peace is restored to the state. Dariye also called on citizens of the state to tolerate each other and learn to live peacefully with one another.
