DEPUTY speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Yusuf Gagdi, yesterday dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC. Similarly, the member representing Mikang constituency, Daniel Nanlong also decamped alongside the deputy speaker. Gagdi represents Kantana constituency in the state house of assembly. Reading a letter on the floor of the Plateau House of Assembly yesterday, the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Peter Azi, welcomed the decamped members to the APC, stressing that in the APC, there is no discrimination, he called on the party to remain resolute and call on citizens of the state to continue to support the APC both at the state and federal level. Speaking to newsmen, the deputy speaker said he dumped the PDP because most of his supporters are in the APC.
