The Delta Police Command recently said it had apprehended two suspects who were alleged to being in possession of suspected stolen computers and accessories. The command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Celestina Kalu, disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen in Warri. She said, ‘’The suspects were caught on April 26 at about 10:45 p.m., while Dragon Patrol Team 20 was on patrol at Ughelli/Patani Road. ‘’They intercepted the two boys riding an unregistered blue Lifan motorcycle with Chassis No. LFPCJ504EB025070, carrying some sack-bags. ‘’Consequently upon search, five HP computer monitors, two central processing units (CPUs), five computer keyboards with inscription “DTS UND” were found on them. ‘’Also, one Evergood UPS, five computer mouse, five HP computer screen stands and one microwave were recovered from the sack-bags.’’ Kalu said that the matter was under investigation by the police and urged those that had lost such items to visit the Patani Police Station with proofs of ownership for collection.
