Police special anti-robbery squad, SARS, in Enugu state has uncovered 187 rounds of .9mm live ammunitions and 10 live cartridges concealed in a black polythene bag inside a bush within Nwosu terrace axis of Ogui, Enugu.
According to the police public relations unit, the discovery was made through a tip off last Saturday.
Following the tip-off, police raided the suspected criminals hide-out where the ammunition was discovered.
It is gathered that police have commenced full scale investigation to fish out the possible hoodlums that own the cartridges.
In another development, the operatives of the special Anti Robbery Squad have nabbed one Emmanuel Ugwu AKA Sliding of Amuzam Obeagu Ugwuaji Enugu South local Government Area of Enugu state over his involvement in cult and its related nefarious activities.
Suspect is helping the operatives in their investigations as he has revealed that he is a member of Bukinafaso (B.F.) Confraternity, also known as ATABO Bukinafaso.
According to him, “I joined Bukinafaso confraternity in 2011 at Aba through a friend and later became the leader of the cult group also known as the capo.’’
In a related development,One Emmanuel Amegbo 20 years old also known as C.J. an under graduate of National Open University with political Science have been nabbed by the operatives of SARS Enugu state who has revealed that he is a member of JVC Confraternity otherwise known as Junior Bagger cult and from Amechi Uno in Awkunanaw Enugu.
Investigations have commenced in full scale.
