OGUN State Police
Command yesterday said it
has rescued a three year old
girl abducted last Sunday in
a Church in Lagos.
A statement made
available yesterday by
the Police Public Relation
Officer, PPRO of the
command, Prince Muiywa
Adejobi indicated that the
victim whose name was
not given was seen inside
a church in Oke-Sokori,
Abeokuta, the Ogun State
capital.
The statement further
stated that the dumping of
the victim inside the church
was part of the release
procedure put forward by
the kidnappers.
Adejobi explained that
the young victim was
noticed crying inside the
church which later attracted
the attention of members
of the community who
later informed the police
detective attached to Adigbe
Divisional headquarters in
the state capital.
The police spokesperson
explained that the victim
was seen with the mobile
phone number of the Lagos
Pastor written on a paper for
easy contact after they might
have collected ransom from
the parent of the victim.
