President Muhammadu Buhari will on Monday undertake a one-day official visit to Accra, the Ghanaian capital.
According to a statement issued in Abuja on Monday by the president’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, Buhari will confer with his Ghanaian counterpart, President John Dramani Mahama, on bilateral relations.
It stated that the two presidents would also deliberate on regional security, trade and other issues of common interest to Nigeria, Ghana and other members of the Economic Community of West African States.
The statement revealed that the President would meet with members of the Nigerian community in Ghana and entrepreneurs before returning to Abuja on Monday evening.
“He will be accompanied to Accra by the National Security Adviser, Maj.-Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd.) and the Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defence, Justice and Industry, Trade and Investment,’’ the statement added. (NAN)
