Gay apologists, activists and practitioners all over the world recently rolled out drums in joyful celebration of the Supreme Court decision legalising gay practices all over America. In his reaction, President Obama praised the ruling as “a victory for America.” He said, “Today we can say in no uncertain terms that we have made our union a little more perfect.” He further added that, “this decision affirms what millions of Americans already believe in their hearts – when all Americans are treated as equal, we are all free.” Wonders they say shall never cease!
The mammoth crowd of old, young and even innocent children who thronged the court and those who marched the streets and cities of Europe and America in solidarity with this aberration showed the abysmal level of degeneration and rot prevalent in the world. This action and other expressions have consciously dared to challenge the supremacy of God over creation. The world should therefore expect nothing short of damning consequences. This is the beginning of a march to the end of humanity-a self-serving, man-made moral injury capable of consuming all of us. In fact, it will not be out of place to assert that the long awaited Armageddon and the apocalyptic reality are here with us.
In the days of old, it was inconceivable for a man to publicly profess love to a woman let alone a man marrying a fellow man or vice-versa in the case of women. Back then, religious, societal norms and family values were top priorities which must be kept and protected by all and sundry. In short, people must dress well, speak well, act well and generally behave themselves in all circumstances. And on no account should anyone drag the family’s name in the mud. However, with the deliberate imposition of absurd American and European cultures on the world through the internet, music, the mass media and other forms of technologies, the level of moral decadence is on the fast lane of pushing the entire world down the cliff of eventual self-destruction.
Did the world see the devastation coming when Ireland which was the first country to have recorganised same-sex marriage in May, 2015 dared God and the law of nature? Some sane, morally and culturally conscious nations did and swiftly enacted anti-gay legislations to quarantine their people from this evil infection. Nigeria was proudly one nation which passed anti-gay law and stood against this “sodomic” evil practice that challenges the very foundation of our creation and the nature of human existence. This ant-gay law in Nigeria is irreversible! Africa and other nations of the world must work against this evil and jointly resist this alien, repugnant culture America and the West intends to impose on the rest of all of us.
This travesty of justice was a satanic reward for a spoilt fruit of the concept of equality and freedom of choice or the so called fundamental human rights Washington and Europe is promoting. If you care to know, gay phenomenon will translate into a potent-subtle-coercive tool and strategic component of diplomatic relationship between America and the rest of the world. It has taken the dimension of a compulsory economic product which must be acquired by developing nations in return for aids or grants.
The western media must be held responsible for being a tool available in the hands of individuals conscripted to gradually ruin the world through its programmes and programming. It deliberately and willingly gave a voice and handed over the platform upon which the agitators and practitioners of this evil tradition ventilate their views. Did you notice that practitioners and agitators of this unholy and unwholesome act of gay and lesbianism are some of the most powerful and trending personalities in politics, religion, businesses, movies, music and sports which have continues to grab world news headlines?
In spite of all these, moral courage to resist evil has not taken flight from the nation of America as many thought. While Obama praised the ruling as a victory for America, so many individuals and religious groups including Chief Justice John Roberts who was among the five panel of justices voiced out their dissent. Justice Roberts among other things argued that the court was making “a decision better left to elected state legislatures,” in apparent disagreement with other learned colleagues of his. In his words, “If you are among the many Americans – of whatever sexual orientation, who favour expanding same-sex marriage by all means, celebrate today’s decision … but do not celebrate the constitution. It had nothing to do with it.”
In the same vein, The US Conference of Catholic Bishops, which opposes marriage equality, called the outcome “a tragic error.” It said, “Jesus Christ, with great love, taught unambiguously that from the beginning marriage is the lifelong union of one man and one woman.” In Nigeria, it was described by the Catholic Bishops Conference as ‘sad, unjust and lamentable’ the legalisation of same sex union. The bishops in a statement said that the persistent and continuous propagation and globalisation of the homosexual life-style and the effort to redefine marriage is a distorted view of human sexuality.
It is a well-known fact that in the beginning, God created man in his own image; … male and female he created them as it was recorded in Genesis 1:27. God also found out in his relationship with man in Genesis 2:28 that; “it is not good that man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” Furthermore, God says in Genesis 2:24; “therefore, shall a man leave his father and mother and shall cleave unto his wife; and they shall be one flesh.” It was therefore God’s original design not a mistake or an oversight that only man and woman should co-habituate.
Apart from giving man the privilege of likeness, he handed the universal dominion of other creatures over to him. The excellence and magnitude of discernment, dominion, knowledge and power at the disposal of man has unfortunately become his undoing. Man is now all-knowing; better and more than the omniscient. He has succeeded in destroying the rare privileges and friendship God offered him and thinks he articulates better than the creator. As captured succinctly in Genesis 6:5-6, “and God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth; and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually, …God was grieved in his heart.” By and large, God’s purpose for man was to love and serve Him. However, the reason for creation was defeated by the intransigence of man. Since then, man’s rebellion has continued unabated and the peace of God and that of the world has completely eluded him.
