The Queen of Aso Africa 2016, Queen Jenifer Ohaegbulam is set to host the National Youth Empowerment Summit 2016.
The event which is in its fifth season will hold in Abuja on November 17, at the prestigious Abuja Sheraton Hotel.
The summit will bring together students from secondary schools, tertiary institutions, members of the National Youth Service corps, NYSC, and youth based Non-Governmental Organisations, NGOs, in order to teach them how to be creative and independent.
Resource persons expected at the event include seasoned speakers like Prof Pat Utomi, Mr Dayo Isreal, Mr Fela Durotoye, Mr Linus Okorie, and Bar Solomon Dalung, the Honourable Minister for Sport and Youth Development, while Sir Mike Okiro, Chairman of the Police Service Commission will chair the occasion.
The event will feature a training programme on tailoring, bead making, shoe making, hair dressing, and make-up, with the best student in each of the categories receiving a start-up kit and grant to commence business.
Queen Jenifer Ohaegbulam was crowned Queen of Aso Africa 2016 on September 5 at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos.
