Pro Buhari Ex-Militant Leader, Israel Akpodoro, has taken a swipe on the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rivers State chapter, saying that the umbrella party including the State Governor, Nyesom Wike, looted Nigeria into its current economic recession.
Israel Apkodoro stated this in Port Harcourt, Rivers State Capital, further noting that the Chairman of the state chapter of the party, Mr. Felix Obuah, was playing to the gallery in “grand deception and grandstanding”.
He said because of the lust for material wealth of the Obuah led PDP, people of Rivers State were tired and suffocating under the maladministration of the current government and his group of looters who are suffering from dearth of ideas on how to run a state like Rivers.
Akpodoro who doubles as the National President of Niger Delta Ex-Agitators, NCNDE-A, however warned the Obuah led rivers state PDP Chapter to cease its incessant attacks on the respected leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and face the task of making life worthy for the people of the state.
It would be noted the accusation arose from the backdrop of what Akpororo described as unwarranted attacks on the Minister of Transport, Chief Chibuike Amaechi over his “genuine efforts” at enthroning peace in the Niger Delta Region.
He said Amaechi utilised the Consultation and Peace Committee in the Niger Delta region to bring peace, adding, “Obuah and his co-travellers’ were ashamed over the huge success recorded by the Amaechi-led peace initiative in the region.
Since Amaechi completed his tenure as Rivers governor, there have been dearth of development and PDP sponsored cult activities in the state.”Obuah stands the truth on its head because he and his cohorts know clearly that with peace initiative of FG, violence and criminalities will no longer be attractive to the youth of Rivers State.
“This has taken the blood sucking bunch led by Obuah and his master out of business.” The vociferous urhobo-born ex-agitator stated, adding that 2019 was still a long time for any responsible group to project.
