In-coming administration of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Bauchi State has been advised not to make the mistake of the past in appointing unnecessary personnel that will end up adding cost to the government.
Chairman of the 41-member transition committee set up by the Bauchi State Governor-elect, Barrister Muhammad Abubakar, to ensure smooth transition in the state, Senator Muhammad A. Muhammad disclosed this yesterday while speaking to newsmen in Bauchi.
He observed that there is a need for the new administration in the state to reduce cost of governance, considering the financial position of the state, which is very alarming in an effort to deliver its promises to the people of the state.
Senator Muhammad suggested that instead of considering the unnecessary appointment, the new administration should concentrate on executing projects concerning health care, education and development infrastructures aimed at moving the state forward.
