Meanwhile, Labour Party Chairman in Abia State, Mr. Abasi Agbai has said that the election of Muhammadu Buhari was a welcome development for Nigeria and Nigerians.
He said that Nigerians should be happy because whoever won the election won it not as a foreign national but as a Nigerian who must work to make Nigeria better than he met it.
Agbai also congratulated President Goodluck Jonathan for being humble and magnanimous in defeat.
“As for Muhammadu Buhari, we have tested him before and seen that he can reduce the rate of corruption in Nigeria.
“I believe that by the grace of God, he will not be misled by the over-zealous and greedy politician that also surround him. We pray that God will give him the courage to sustain the integrity we have known him for.
