Samson Siasia U23 lead side the Dream Team have been promised the sum of $100,000 (about N24 million) if they are able to beat the Congo U-23 side in Sunday’s African U-23 Championship final round, first leg qualifier at the Adokiye Amiesieamaka Stadium in Port Harcourt by the Rivers State Governor, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike.
According to the NFF official website, the pledge was made on Friday when Wike led some members of the State’s executive council to pay the team a morale -boosting visit, adding that the sum of $30,000 would be paid for every goal.
