Former Nigeria World Cup star Sani Kaita is planning to get his career back on track by reuniting with coach Daniel Amokachi at Finnish second division club JC Hercules.
Midfielder Kaita has not played since he sensationally quit Nigeria premier league side FC IfeanyiUbah last season after he claimed a breach of contract
A proposed return to hometown club Kano Pillars failed to see the light of day thereafter.
The former AS Monaco ace has played in the Netherlands, Russia, Ukraine and Moldova previously. He also posted a stint at Enyimba.
“Sani is working on joining Daniel Amokachi in Finland to see if he could resurrect his once-promising career,” a top source told
Most Nigerian fans remember Kaita not for a good reason – when he was sent off in a 2010 World Cup group game against Greece lost and eventually failed to go past the group stage of the tournament.
