Sean Tizzle has revealed
he is working on a project
with Canadian singer and
songwriter Tory Lanez.
Speaking in an interview
with HFtv Africa, Tizzle said
he is currently working on
his sophomore album and has
collaboration in the works
with the ‘Say It’ singer.
He added that he has been
on tour over at the States and
speaking on his new single
‘Jalolo’, the Headies Next
Rated 2013 winner played
down on the fact that he has
been off the radar for a while,
saying that he has been in the
United States, and fans should
stay tuned for what’s coming.
On the rumoured D’tunes
split, he said he still has a
healthy relationship with
Dtunes as they have been
friends from way back before
the music.
The singer addressed the
Sound Sultan claim of song
theft, saying he would not fail
to credit anyone that writes a
song for him, adding that it
was because of a long-running
‘issue’ they had going on while
he was still at the label Naija
“Some parts of the song were
recorded when I was with the
label Naija Ninjas, but when
i left and decided to finish it
up and drop it as a single, but
definitely he contributed, I
tried to tell the world but I was
that new dude that just came
out and he has been there for
a long time, but people still
showed love because I killed it
at the end of the day.”
On the criticism that followed
his saying that Omawumi’s
cover of Adele’s ‘Hello’ is better
off compared to the original,
Sean unapologetically stuck
with his opinion saying “It’s
my own opinion which I have
a right to,” he said, adding that
people can say whatever they
want to.
The 2013 Headies Next Rated
award winner also revealed
that his album would be
released in September 2016,
which follows his debut album
“The journey” released in 2014
