Hundreds of members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, popularly known as Shiites, on Monday protested against the arrest of their leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.

The marchers comprised men, young children and women holding different placards with various inscriptions calling for the immediate release of ShiekZakzaky.

The leader of the protesters,  Mallam Sani Malfa addressed the crowds at Kofar Mata after three hours of protesting.
