The days of Stephen Keshi as the Super Eagles supremo are numbered if feelers reaching Nigerian Pilot Sports are anything to go by.
Dependable sources hinted our man that the Disciplinary Committee of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, which met at the Federation’s Secretariat in Abuja was expected to come down hard on Coach Keshi after his name appeared among the 59-man shortlist in the race to succeed Herve Renard as manger of the Elephant of Cote d’Ivoire.
Top shots at the NFF are not impressed with the explanation given by Keshi and are, therefore, poised to bring down the sledgehammer on the 51-year-old tactician.
His last contract with the NFF was sealed in April.
Keshi returned as Nigeria coach for the third time in April by signing a two-year contract with the NFF.
We gathered that already, Coach Samson Siasia has been sounded out and will likely be handed the job of the Super Eagles for the second spell, alongside Shaibu Amodu.
