….Says no Judge sign execution order

Management of Sky Bank has condemned in totality the action of the court over the invasion of their branches in Osogbo yesterday describing it as illegal.

Speaking at the correspondents chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists in Osogbo, the Head, Corporate Communication of the Bank, Mr Rasheed Bolarinwa, declared that the purported order of execution, obtained to carry out the action was only signed and no name of any judge was written on it.

He questioned why a court should ordered an organization to execute an action without the name of the preside judge written on it.

“Three cases were involved with TUNS Holdings. The Court of Appeal on May 8, 2015 gave a judgment while Kola Olawoye and Co, filed a stay of execution on that day.

“We are waiting for Appeal Court to invite us to argue our application before it. We expect the applicant to wait for decision of Supreme Court before they carry out the action.

“Wherever there is a pending application on a case, none of the parties should act until the application is determined,” he added.

However, Bolarinwa condemned the action and claim of the plaintiff that they are not aware of the pending application, saying their counsels have reacted to one of the application.

He however, appealed strongly to their customer and assured that “because of massive destruction at Fagbewesa Branch, only the Fakunle, Oke-fia and LAUTECH Branch will be open to them today (Friday).
