Rector of Sokoto State Polytechnic, Prof. Aminu Ibrahim yesterday asked students and workers to always respect and remain law adding in order to move the institution to a greater height.
Ibrahim dropped this hint while receiving Old Boys Association of the Government Science Secondary School, Farfaru, Sokoto, which paid him a visit in his office yesterday.
The rector described the visit as historical, promising to
“build integrity in the system as rector.”
He used the occasion to call on lecturers to put in their best to develop the school in order to compete favourably with other tertiary institutions in the country.
Ibrahim pleaded also for prayer to enable him succeed in moving the school forward.
“Without your support and prayers I would not be here today, but with your prayers we are somewhere.”
In his remark, S. Fada who spoke on behalf of the members said the rector had made their class proud and therefore would give him all the necessary support to move the polytechnic to a greater height.
