TRADING on the Nigerian equities market closed on a negative note yesterday, as NSE ASI depreciated by 0.50% to close at 31,269.71basis points, compared with the 0.04% depreciation recorded previously.
Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at -9.77%
Market breadth closed negative as Evans Medical led 15gainers against 27losers topped by Conoil at the end of yesterday’s session- an improved performance when compared with previous outlook.
Market turnover closes positive as volume moved up by 91.54% against 72.04% decline recorded in the previous session. UBA, Access bank and Zenith bank were the most active to boost market turnover. Nestle and Zenith bank top market value list.
