FOLLOWING the impending
resignation of Mr. Victor
Yeboah-Manu, the Board of
Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC,
has named Mr. Adekunle
Adedeji as its group chief
financial officer.
A statement from the bank
said that Yeboah-Manu
would be resigning from the
company as the group chief
financial officer with effect
from March 29, 2018.
Adedeji, who is currently
the chief financial officer for
Stanbic Bank Ghana, has over
23 year’s post-graduation
experience, with more than 20
years in the banking sector.
He holds a degree in
accounting and a Master
of Business Administration
(MBA) degree in Finance.
Adedeji has attended several
executive development
programmes.
He is a fellow of the Institute
of Chartered Accountants
of Nigeria (ICAN); fellow,
Chartered Institute of
Bankers of Nigeria CIBN);
fellow, Chartered Institute
of Stockbrokers of Nigeria
(CISN); charter holder of
the Chartered Financial
Analyst Institute (CFAI);
associate, Nigeria Institute
of Management (NIM) and
associate, Chartered Institute
of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
Prior to his appointment in
Ghana in May 2013, he had
served as financial controller
for Stanbic IBTC Bank
PLC, the company’s largest
subsidiary.
Also, Adedeji had served
as financial controller and
regional financial controller
for Ecobank Liberia and
Nigeria respectively.
He has worked with Ernst
& Young for three years
with his experience covering
audit, taxation and other
consultancy services.
