Nigerian Stock market closed on a negative note on Monday, as NSE ASI depreciated by 0.60% to close at 27,843.00basis points, compared with the 0.13% depreciation recorded previously.
Its Year-to-Date, YTD, returns currently stands at -2.79%
Market breadth closed negative as Total led 15gainers against 28Losers topped by Oando at the end of yesterday’s session- an improved performance when compared with previous outlook.
Market turnover closes negative as volume declined by 25.05% against 63.46% uptick recorded in the previous session. FCMB, GTB and UBA were the most active to boost market turnover. GTB and Dangote Cement top market value list.
Nestle leads the list of active stocks that recorded impressive volume spike at the end of yesterday’s session.
