TRADING on the Nigerian Stock Exchange continue its bearish trend yesterday as NSE ASI depreciated by 1.30% to close at 29,668.16basis points, compared with the 0.57% depreciation recorded previously. Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at 14.40%
Market breadth closed negative as Okomu Oil led 19gainers against 28losers topped by UNITYBNK at the end of yesterday’s session- an unimproved performance when compared with previous outlook.
Market turnover closes positive as volume moved up by 29.23% against 7.71% decline recorded in the previous session. Trnscorp, UBA and ETI were the most active to boost market turnover. ETI and Zenith bank top market value list.
ETI leads the list of active stocks that recorded impressive volume spike at the end of yesterday’s session.
