Equities market closed on a positive note yesterday after consistent losing for five days. The NSE ASI appreciated by 0.23% to close at 27,753.34 basis points, compared with the 0.53% depreciation recorded previously.
Its Year-to-Date, YTD, returns currently stands at -3.11%.
Market breadth closed negative as Cutix led 14gainers against 17Losers topped by AIICO at the end of yesterday’s session- an improved performance when compared with previous outlook.
Market turnover closes negative as volume declined by 48.27% against 9.21% uptick recorded in the previous session. GTB, FBNH and Fidelity Bank were the most active to boost market turnover. WAPCO and GTB top market value list.
