Nigeria equities market closed on a negative note yesterday, as NSE ASI depreciated by 0.01% to close at 24,637.91basis points, compared with the 0.04% depreciation recorded previously. Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at -13.98%.
Market breadth closed negative as Oando led 14gainers against 22losers topped by Mobil at the end of today’s session- an unimproved performance when compared with previous outlook.
Market turnover closes negative as volume declined by 97.66% against 2987.99% uptick recorded in the previous session. Zenith Bank, Transcorp and GTB were the most active to boost market turnover. GTB and Zenith Bank top market value list.
Mobil leads the list of active stocks that recorded impressive volume spike at the end of yesterday’s session.
