Nigerian Stock Exchange closed on a negative note on Monday as NSE ASI depreciated by 2.63% to close at 29,840.23basis points, compared with the 1.36% depreciation recorded previously. Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at +4.18%.
Market breadth closed negative as Fidson Health Care led 16gainers against 41losers topped by UCAP at the end of yesterday’s session- an unimproved performance when compared with previous outlook.
Market turnover closes negative as volume declined by 15.59% against 1.33% decline recorded in the previous session. GTB, NEM Insurance and FBNH were the most active to boost market turnover. GTB and NB top market value list.
