THE Nigerian equities market closed on a positive note on Thursday, as NSE ASI appreciated by 0.61% to close at 34,416.29basis points, compared with the 0.27% appreciation recorded previously.
Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at -0.69%
Market breadth closed positive as Livestock led 28gainers against 18losers topped by Ikeja Hotel at the end of Thursday’s session- an improved performance when compared with previous outlook.
Market turnover closes positive as volume moved up by 1.65% against 33.29% decline recorded in the previous session. UBA, Zenith bank and Chams Plc were the most active to boost market turnover. Zenith bank and GTB top market value list.
