The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations hero for Nigeria has left France and moved across to the second tier of Turkish football

Midfielder Sunday Mba has moved to Turkish side Malatyaspor from CA Bastia in France, according to reports.

Malatyaspor play in the TFF First League, the second division in Turkey after earning promotion at the end of last season.

Founded in 1966, they are based in Malatya in Eastern Anatolia and play at the 15,000 capacity Malatya Inonu Stadium. They are nicknamed Tigers of the East.

Mba, hero of Nigeria’s 2013 Africa Cup of Nations triumph, spent one and a half seasons at French third division side CA Bastia.
