An indigene of Borno State resident in Jos South Local Government of Plateau State, Mr Mohammed Isa, yesterday said he would as from tomorrow (Wednesday) commence trekking from Lagos to Abuja to celebrate President Goodluck Jonathan.
He stated this while speaking to newsmen yesterday in Jos yesterday.
According to him, “Jonathan is the hero of our democracy and I will trek from Lagos to Abuja to present to him an award.
“As I speak to you now I will be travelling to Lagos from Jos now by bus in order to embark on my mission on Wednesday.
“Jonathan is one of the best things that have happened to our country. President Jonathan needs to be celebrated for transforming the nation. Jonathan saved Nigeria from monumental crisis and violence conceding defeat in the March 28 presidential election.
“Our president’s actions not only saved the nation from a possible crisis but also added value to the growth of our democracy, and that’s why he has to be celebrated.”
Isa said he was fit for his mission and would cover the distance in 18 days.
