Immediate past Governor of Benue State, Gabriel Suswam has called on all Peoples Democratic Party, PDP members and sympathizers in the state to remain resolute and steadfast.
Suswam in a statement signed by his Media Aide, Anawah Joseph and made available to Nigerian Pilot Saturday in Makurdi, the state capital urged PDP members to remain strong in order to offer formidable opposition in the politics of the state.
The former governor who has since returned to the country after a medical trip to Germany, reminded the PDP members in the state to note that they are now in the opposition and should be ready to play opposition politics since power has moved to another party.
Suswam said he is not afraid of multiple panels set by the APC government to probe his administration, even as he described them as ominous signs of vendetta and witch hunting.
The former governor however said he is surprised at the manner the APC government in the state have him a subject of persecution, but stressed that it will amount to cowardice for him to run away because of probe after being a political leader of in the state for eight years.
