Speaker Aminu Tambuwal and APC gubernatorial candidate for Sokoto State, on Saturday commended the INEC for improved performance in the gubernatorial and state assembly elections.

Waziri made the commendation while addressing newsmen after casting his vote at Islamiya polling unit in Tambuwal, headquarters of the Local Government Area.

He said there was tremendous improvement on service delivery compared with the Presidential and National Assembly elections.

” I have not received any complaint of lack of electoral materials and Card Reader.

Tambuwal commended the people for conducting themselves in a peaceful manner.

The speaker called on Nigerians to shun all kinds of violence, to ensure peaceful conduct of electoral processes.

He said it was only by so doing that credible leaders that had the interest of the common people at heart would emerge.

The News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) reports that the exercise went on peacefully in Tambuwal, Dogon Daji, Anjannaje, Maikada, Basire and Bageda polling units in the state.( NAN)
