Rose has said that Gymnastics
is a future of Nigerian sports if
governments of all levels and
every stakeholder support and
invest heavily in it.
Rose said this at the end
of 6-Day student gymnastics
training/ competition open
camp, organized for under 17
children in Abuja.
The Chief Coach said the
purpose of the event was to hunt
for talents within the FCT, catch
them young and make Nigeria
proud in future competitions.
“We need funds to pay the
children to encourage them, so
that they will not be poached by
other states when it is time for
competitions as we are preparing
them for the U-17 gymnastics
meet to be held in Ilorin and
Kwara states later in the year,” she
said. Nigerian Pilot gathered that
most of the participating children
won gold, silver, and bronze
medals, as 13 years old Crystal
Chizonam won the 1st edition of
the Miss FCT gymnastics 2017
while, a nine year old Indira Ogu-
Biaduo emerged as the little Miss
FCT gymnastics 2017.
Meanwhile, the new FCT
gymnastics beauty queen urged
parent to enroll their Kids into
gymnastics as it makes children
become flexible and promised
to lend a helping hand to the
less privileged and younger
She urged the management
to help keep the gymnastics hall
