Manchester United have made contact with Borussia Dortmund over a possible move for Gabon attacker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Daily Mail claims that United have confirmed their interest in the African player, who is rated somewhere in the region of £70 million.
Aubameyang has enjoyed a superb season for BVB and is being targeted by a number of major clubs, with the likes of Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona having also been linked to a move for him.
Dortmund have repeatedly stated that they have no interest in selling the Gabonese player, though a big-money offer may be enough to temp coach Thomas Tuchel to relinquish his prized asset.
Aubameyang, 26, has scored 23 goals in 28 Bundesliga appearances this season.
