According to Owolade, “Even if the vaults of the central bank were to be opened in Osun State, we would not be able to get out of this bankruptcy if there are no right ideas to manage its affairs. That is why we are hosting the festival ideas to use the present misfortune to push our state out of the arena of untold misfortune.”
Owolade noted that a summit of the nobles was expected to come up with recommendations and measures that would turn around the entire Osun State and showcase to the entire world that Osun was richly blessed with quality minds that could reconstruct a disintegrated state.
The group said further that “the summit which is non-political is expected to hold at Leisure Spring Hotel, Osogbo, on Thursda,y under the distinguished chairmanship of Justice Olu Adekeye who is a retired justice of the Supreme Court of Nigerian.
“We have invited all former governors and their deputies, former senators and speakers of the state Assembly, traditional rulers, industrial unions, all political parties, business leaders, as well as religious leaders among others,” Owolade added.
