On-loan Chelsea star Victor Moses has taken the lid off on why he decided to have a stint at West Ham ahead of staying back with Stoke City or opting for moves to Aston Villa or Tottenham Hotspurs who all wanted him.

Moses made deadline switch from Stamford Bridge to Uptown Park and the Nigeria international have now revealed the real reasons behind his choice.

West Ham have chalked up important away wins at The Emirate and Anfield but Moses claimed he was by no means swayed by those massive reports posted by the Hammers.

“It’s not just been the way they have played that has impressed me, but it’s been the hard work as well,” he told West Ham TV.

“You can tell everyone is fighting for each other and it was a great result at Arsenal and then at Liverpool at the weekend.”

Moses who is not part of the Nigeria squad for the international break will hope to settle fast as the Hammers will look to overcome their poor home form when they welcome Newcastle United on Monday September 14.
