West Ham forward Victor Moses played only 37 minutes in Saturday’s goalless draw with Manchester United at the Old Trafford and is now set to be sidelined until the new year.
The on-loan Chelsea player limped off the pitch in the first half and was subsequently replaced by Michail Antonio.
The Hammers coach Slaven Bilic disclosed the winger could be out of action until late January.
“We have to wait for a scan but it doesn’t look good,” Bilic told the club’s official website.
“It’s not like cramp. I don’t know if it’s three, four, five or six weeks.”
Moses joins a growing list of Hammers facing spells on the sidelines.
“It is painful to be without Dimi Payet, Enner Valencia, Diafra Sakho, Manuel Lanzini and now Victor Moses,” Bilic said.
