Captain Idris Wada, the Kogi State Governor has indicated his interest to contest the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
The Governor dropped the hints in the People Democratic Party, PDP stakeholders’ meeting which took place in the government house, Lokoja.
He told the party chieftains and the stakeholders that he has resolved to go for second term in order to complete ongoing projects, among others to actualise his transformation agenda for the state.
He therefore solicited for the cooperation of all the party members, stakeholders and those that have interest of the party at heart to make his second term bid a success.
The stakeholders meeting that was attended by the former Governor of the state, Ibrahim Idris, party state executive led by outgoing Chairman, Hassan Salawu and others promised to stand by him to make his second term quest fruitful.
