The former heavyweight champion, David Haye will take on Mark De Mori at the O2 Arena as he makes his long-awaited comeback.
Haye’s last bout came back in 2012 when he defeated Dereck Chisora at Upton Park and the 35-year-old cannot wait to return to the ring against De Mori.
“He looks impressive athletically, he has a good ranking, a high knockout rate, can dish it out verbally very well and he is unbeaten in 11 years,” he said.
“That was very important to me. I wanted to fight someone who under no circumstances was already knocked out Wilder or Wladimir Klitschko.
“I want to deliver a statement and show that I’m back. And I think to start with someone in the top ten of the WBA is not so bad.
Haye’s return to the ring comes as talk of an all-British showdown with Anthony Joshua continues.
