Delectable actress, Kehinde Bankole has revealed why she sometimes reject movie scripts from some of her colleagues who wants her face in their movies.
Kenny, who shot into prominence with her role in Wale Adenuga produced family TV series, ‘Super Story’ disclosed that she necessarily do not reject scripts but may do so if the need arises.
“It is not a Yes or a No thing, but if it is important to the life of that film, I will decide to reject or be part of the project. I have a team, we sit down and we make a decision. If we think the smallest person is not good for that film or the biggest person is not good, it is like a business decision where people have to decide what will make them turn it down or accept it,” she said.
“I necessarily do not have to say because an actress is in it or not in it. I look at the story, sometimes if a story is very good and they cast you and you know within yourself that you don’t find yourself in the story, you can’t deliver it, that is one of the reasons why you turn it down,” she added.
Kehinde Bankole won the ‘Best Actress in a Lead Role’ for her role in Kunle Afolayan’s movie, ‘October 1’ at the 2015 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
