Football Ace, Segun Odegbami, has appealed to Nigerians for massive support for the Super Eagles against the Chipolopolo of Zambia for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier match on Saturday in Uyo.

Odegbami made the appeal in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Ota, Ogun.

He said this they could do through prayers and physical presence at the venue to show their support for the team.

“Nigerians should support the Super Eagles vocally, physically and in their prayers, because it is a game that Nigeria must win.

”We must do everything possible to win the match so that we can qualify for Russia 2018 World Cup, ”he said.

Odegbami said the massive presence of Nigerians at the Godwin Akpabio Stadium Uyo to support the Super Eagles would lift the spirit of the Nigerians players.

The ex-international, however, called on the people, especially football enthusiasts to leave the technical aspect of the match to the coaching crew to decide.
