Yoruba community in the 19 Northern states and Abuja has called on all Nigerians both of the Islam and Christian faith to pray fervently for the president-elect General Muhammadu Buhari and his vice president-elect, Professor Yemi Osinbanjo for divine intervention for them to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people and ensure that the much sought after changes is realized.
The leader of the community, Ambassador Muhammadu Arigbagbowo disclosed this while speaking to the media in Kaduna yesterday.

Ambassador Arigbagbowo added that the success of General Muhammadu Buhari at the poll is a divine intervention to redeem the country and put smile on the faces of the poor and down trodden.
“We called on all elected governors, senators, House of Representatives, members of states House of Assembly to have in their mind that the success of the incoming government is their own success because they all worked for the change.”
In the same vein, the Southeast Coordinator of the Muhammadu Buhari Legacy Foundation, a nongovernmental organization, Architect John Paul Ede has assured Nigerians that the Igbo would rally round the president-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) because he will bring great changes in the polity.
He said in an interview at the weekend in Kaduna that the Igbo people would associate with Buhari due to his unalloyed integrity and were ever ready to support his administration.
According to him, “my likeness for Buhari started when I was in America. As Head of State then, he visited us in America and the way
he coordinated our Nigerian students overseas impressed everybody, myself in particular. I became so much interested in his person. That
was why, when I heard about this organization, the Muhammadu Buhari Legacy Foundation, I decided to support his ideas; I find pleasure in joining to make it realistic.”
On how he intended to propagate Buhari’s ideals in the South East, he said “to the best of my ability I will organize the people in the
South East, to educate and enlighten them on the good characters of Buhari, his anti-corruption stance, his honesty and integrity. I’m hopeful that many among our people in the East would join me in this affair. They will key into the idea and as time goes on, we would form a group solely for the promotion of his interest, principles, projects and ideals.”
Architect Paul Ede called on Nigerians to support the Buhari administration which he envisaged, was going to be as honest as the president himself.
“Buhari is going to portray himself in his administration. Nigerians will see great change, I call on the senators and other lawmakers to give him great support because he is a man to reckon with,” Arch. Ede said.
