YOUTH Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria, YOWICAN, has expressed concern over alleged extra-judicial killing of innocent Nigerians by some security operatives in the country.

National President of the association, Engr. Daniel Kadzai who expressed the concern in a new year message to all Nigerians, called on the Federal Government to carryout full investigation into the killings as well as probe the alleged disappearance of some men of the military in the north-eastern part of the country.

“While appreciating the effort on war against terrorism, we are also concern over the extra–judicial killing of fellow Nigerians by security forces. We strongly call on Federal Authority to investigate all extra- judicial killings as well as the alleged disappearance of Nigerian soldiers unaccounted for”

The Christian youth leader further appealed to the federal government to expedite action on the compensation to victims of terrorism and rebuilding of places of worship destroyed by insurgents.
